Synopsis

A Louisiana man becomes convinced he is Don Quixote, and sets off across the American South on an increasingly unhinged adventure. Part Cervantes, part Southern Gothic, entirely its own thing.

Filmmaker Chris Poché made his feature directorial debut with The True Don Quixote, a modern adaptation of Cervantes' novel transposed to small-town Louisiana. The film stars Tim Blake Nelson and Jacob Batalon.
