When Alex, a troubled film student, discovers a handkerchief embroidered with the name Billy Knight among his late father’s belongings, he sets off on a cinematic journey through the lost memories of Hollywood’s Golden Age. A lavish meta-drama about creative ego, artistic inheritance, and the cost of building a life on someone else’s stories.

American writer-director Alec Griffen Roth, a graduate of the University of Miami, made his feature directorial debut with Billy Knight. He co-founded Firebrand Media Group in 2022.
